This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

What if you could not speak for yourself? Who would know your wishes when it came to end-of-life care?

Come and join Palliative Care Tasmania (PCT) to learn about how to plan for your future health care preferences and open up the conversation with your loved ones.

The 1-hour session will explore and unpack what Palliative Care is, who is involved in care, what advance care planning is and how to have conversations around end-of-life wishes and document your preferences for future medical care on an advance care directive.

Sessions are suitable for everyone of all ages who want a deeper understanding of how to plan ahead, how to support themselves and/others when it comes to palliative care and advance care planning.

Participants will all need to check in via reception before being given directions to the meeting room.
