AMBER LAWRENCE

Amber Lawrence is a 5 times Golden Guitar winning Australian singer-songwriter who captures the nation’s attention and heart with her uplifting songs of self-belief, love, family and ordinary Australians.

Whilst many musicians and artists stagnated through 2020 due to the effects of Covid-19 shutdowns, Amber’s creativity thrived and she launched her ARIA number 2 charting DVD – Amber Lawrence Live, collaborated on three separate releases, including the successful re-imagination of True Blue alongside Aleyce Simmonds, Dianna Corcoran and Kirsty Lee Akers, (winning the Golden Guitar in the 2021 CMAA Golden Guitar Awards) and to finish the year, she release her third children’s Album ‘The Kid’s Gone Country 2’, which became a number 2 ARIA charting Country Album!

In 2019 Amber Lawrence launched her 6th studio album, Spark – nominated for CMAA Album of the Year, Female Artist of the Year and Contemporary Album of the Year. It was also the second highest selling country album for 2019 (behind Lee Kernaghan).

In 2018 just took home 3 of the most prestigious Golden Guitar awards at the CMAA Golden Guitar Awards!! APRA Song of the Year, Single of the Year and Vocal Collaboration of the year, for the song ‘Our Backyard’, a collaboration with Travis Collins.

A former Qantas Airways employee, and Chartered Accountant, Amber risked it all in 2008 to pursue a career in music. The risk paid off in 2015 when Amber was awarded the iconic and prestigious ‘Female Artist of the Year’ award for her song ‘Superhero’, at the 2015 CMAA Golden Guitar awards – the highest accolade for country music in Australia. This was quickly followed up with the Country Music Channel 2015 ‘Female Artist of the Year’ Award.  This was the first time in history that an artist has won both awards in one year.

CATHERINE BRITT

It’s the singer and the song that makes for truly distinctive and enduring artists. Lots of great songs and some mighty fine singing.  Catherine Britt has a voice that instantly gets your attention . .  but unlike others, it is the craftsmanship of this singer/songwriter who unashamedly boasts a worthy story to tell that truly keeps her audience enthralled.

She has lived a life in the world of entertainment most will never experience or dream of.  The archetypal Aussie girl from the coal works of Newcastle uprooted herself at 17 years old and moved for six years to Nashville TN (USA) where she gained a deep knowledge of country/roots/folk history as well as touring extensively and releasing top 40 Billboard hits.

How did this happen you may well ask. Not every 17 year old  moves from Newcastle to Nashville to pursue their musical dreams. Well, the story is that a certain Elton John (yes, THAT Elton John – not to be mistaken for  . . .)  heard Catherine during one of his Australian tours in the early 2000s. So impressed with Catherine was Elton that he took her albums back to America with him and helped get a deal with RCA Records.

Catherine’s recording career commenced in 1999 when, at the age of 14, she released her first EP followed in 2001 by her debut album release. Since then she has released six more studio albums as well as a Best Of album.

Awards? You want awards. Over the course of her career Catherine has collected a host of accolades, a legion of fans and a mantel of awards including the country industry’s highest honours, 2009 CMAA Female Artist of the Year Award, 2012 CMAA Single of the Year, 2013 CMAA Female Artist of the Year Award, 2016 Female Artist of the Year, 2017 Vocal Collaboration of The Year for her celebrated single “F U Cancer” as well as APRA Award and CMC Artist of the Year nominations. 6 of Catherine’s albums released to date have been nominated for the ARIA Award for the Best Country Album release, which is a first for any Australian country artist. In 2010, Catherine was also presented with the CMA Global Artist of the Year award.

Catherine’s talent has also seen her tour, perform and record with some of music’s most respected names including Kasey Chambers, Paul Kelly, Sir Elton John, Steve Earle, Dolly Parton, Don McLean, Chris Isaac, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Guy Clark and Keith Urban to name but a few.

COREY LEGGE

Corey Legge plays heartfelt Alt-Country and Folk-Rock, drawing influence from his wholesome upbringing amongst the fertile pastures surrounding Bega (NSW). Corey has released two albums in two years, ‘Driving out of Eden’ (2019) and ‘Some Days’ (2020), landing him high rotation on ABC Country, and regular airplay on KIX Country, Double J and Triple J. Corey’s most popular single to date ‘I Don’t Know What I’ve Got Myself in For’ landed at #2 on the Australian Country Radio charts, which led to four film clips being added to CMT on Foxtel. Corey’s music has also been shared by the legendary James Taylor.

The recipient of a prestigious ‘Young Regional Artist Scholarship’ from Create NSW in 2018, Corey subsequently flew to New Zealand to record his debut solo album ‘Driving out of Eden’ with award-winning producer Ben Edwards (Julia Jacklin, Marlon Williams). Corey returned to New Zealand in late 2019 to record his follow up album, ‘Some Days’, which was released on September 1st 2020. The album title track was a semi-finalist in the 2020 International Songwriting Competition.

Corey’s 2nd album ‘Some Days’ features the singles ‘Last Night I Dreamt of You’, ‘Fireball’, ‘Some Days’ and ‘I Don’t Know What I’ve Got Myself in For’, and has been warmly received by the media and fans alike. Corey is set to release his 3rd album in 2022, with extensive Australian and European album launch tours.

"A national treasure in the making."
