MANNA + Sandy James + Danielle Nia at The Gatherings
Event description
The learned listener will find modular-made realizations by MANNA marked by creative beauty and a meritorious aural adventurousness. The sonic energy level winds its way languidly through the resonant and subtly shaded Ambient moods provided by a range of synthesizers of an open-ended voicing architecture.
Sandy James makes experimental music with modular synthesizers and performs regularly at "Modular on the Spot" events. Forsaking conventional narrative clarity she plays with an ear for color, motion and texture.
Humming with energy and creativity, Danielle Nia fearlessly imagines a future full of freedom and possibility - a new age hopefully within our reach.
This event includes the video artistry of Neil Cippon and Samara Talkin. Generating projections of original, ever-evolving graphics onto the interior features of the St Mary's staging space, their visual output aligned with the improvised live musical expressions conjured by the musicians.
