National Tree Day
Event description
Join us on National Tree Day and be part of the country's largest community tree planting and nature-care event!
Help us plant over 3,000 trees and shrubs along the Federation Trail to support local biodiversity and improve habitat for native animals.
Please bring a set of gardening gloves, and a water bottle, and be prepared to get dirty.
Wear sturdy closed-toe footwear, and bring a sun hat, and/or jacket as per weather conditions on the day.
There will be FREE coffee and BBQ available for participants during the event.
Participating children under 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
Street parking is available along McLachlan Drive. Please park considerately to avoid obstructing vehicle movement and access to properties as this is a residential area.
This project has been supported by the Victorian Government through the More Trees for a Cooler, Greener West program.
