Description

The new Australian FASD Guidelines are a comprehensive resource – but with so much information, it can be difficult to know where to start when you need an answer quickly.

This one-hour webinar for professionals will demonstrate how AI tools such as ChatGPT can be used to:

  • Find and summarise the parts of the Guidelines most relevant to your professional role.

  • Turn long, technical content into clear, practical resources.

  • Use effective prompts to get accurate and useful answers.

  • Reframe assessment findings for different audiences, including NDIS applications and school planning.

You’ll see real demonstrations using de-identified material, along with tips for safe, ethical, and time-efficient use. The session will conclude with a Q&A.

Who should attend?
Clinicians, social workers, educators, NDIS support coordinators, child protection workers, and others applying the FASD Guidelines in practice.

Presenter
Prue Walker – Senior Social Worker and FASD Consultant. Prue has extensive clinical experience in diagnostic services and specialises in interpreting complex reports for families, schools, and service providers. She was directly involved in the development of the new Australian FASD Guidelines.

Prue will be joined by special guests, including members of the Guidelines Development Group and experienced clinicians, who will share their insights and practice tips.

Please join us online for this interactive live webinar. If you can’t make it on the day, don’t worry — the session will be recorded and a link will be emailed to everyone who registers.

Brought to you by the FASD Guidelines Dissemination Group.
