Director Janet Shay, once taught to chant “Death to Israel” and to deny the Holocaust, now tells a profoundly compassionate human story of a Jewish family’s survival.

Reflections of Courage recounts the extraordinary true story of the only known Jewish family of four to survive the Holocaust concentration camps together. Through Eddy Boas’ firsthand account, the film reveals how courage, resilience and acts of kindness made survival possible in the face of unimaginable horror.

Reflections of Courage is a testament not only to survival, but to the power of truth to transform even the deepest beliefs.

We will be joined in-person by Eddy Boas, child Holocaust survivor.
