Seed Bombs - Mud Pies that Grow Plants!

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

SEE Change Tuggeranong, the Uniting Church Tuggeranong, and the Canberra Seed Savers invite you to attend this seed bomb workshop as part of SpringFest!

Making seed bombs is an engaging, messy, fun way for kids to learn about seeds and growing plants. All gardens need flowering plants – whether its native bushes or flowering herbs or decorative flowers – to feed the bees and pollinators we rely on to produce our food.

Join us in this one hour hands-on workshop to learn how to make these mud pies that grow flowers, get your hands dirty giving it a go and take home some seed bombs for spring. We'll also talk about the best ways and places to responsibly use seed bombs and the types of seeds that are best.

The workshop will be held outdoors in the grounds of the Uniting Church 17 Comrie street in Erindale .

There will be no parking available at the Church.

Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or have been a close contact of someone with COVID-19. You are welcome to wear a face mask.
