Event description

These classes are a place to sink a little deeper into connection with plants, to open our awareness and to practice using the incredible senses of our bodies to learn about the specific healing properties of different plants.

Each week we will work with three different herbal teas made from commonly found plants or spices. The group will be guided through meditation and into a time of contemplation to sit with each medicinal tea and come to know them more intimately than before.

We will follow this with sharing and conversation about our experiences, questions, challenges and a look at some of the ways to work with these plants in herbal practice.

The classes are open to everyone and run on a casual basis.

Please bring a journal and something to write or draw with

Please let me know at the beginning of class of any health conditions (including pregnancy) which may effect which teas are safe for you to consume.

This is a four-week trial, with hopes to continue if it all goes well.

If you have any questions or if the ticket price is out of reach for you, please contact me at kin.botanica@gmail.com

I live and work in Dja Dja Wurrung country which was stolen and has never been ceded. I pay my respects to the traditional custodians of this country, their elders and their culture.

5% of all class proceeds will go to Pay the Rent at the end of each month

I am Rosie, a herbal teacher and medicine maker. I have been immersed in western herbalism for many years, but my real love is in simply sitting with plants; trees, grasses, flowers and all, and forming genuine relationships with them, the bugs, the earth and the sky. I believe that true listening is a first step towards learning and healing
