WOHO Mentoring Panel Talk & Launch Event

Following the success of the Women in Hospitality Mentor Program launch in February 2020, we are back! This August, we celebrate the second round of the Program with a virtual event to bring together all our mentors, mentees and members across the country to catch up, share stories & be inspired by the challenges we have overcome collectively as an industry!

Proudly sponsored by JRM Hospitality Recruitment, we invite everyone to join us for our national event and meet our newest mentor and mentee matches for another round of the 6-12 month Program. 

We are delighted to announce that the event will be hosted by JustAbby (Abby Roennfeldt) who is the National Brand Ambassador for Nip of Courage. 

We will also be joined by industry powerhouse Kathleen Davies, founder of Nip of Courage, the first female-owned Spirits Distribution Company in Australia, and the first distributor ever to represent 100% Australian made and Australian owned craft spirits. Kathleen will be providing an update on the women she works with in distilleries affected by the bushfires & COVID-19.

Welcomed by WOHO Founder Julia Campbell and Directors Lisa Hobbs & Claire Van Vuuren, the event brings together likeminded individuals at every level - Back of House, Front of House or those in administration roles - all are welcome.  We will also hear from a couple of our current mentors & mentees on their growth throughout the first 6 months of the Program, especially during COVID.

The aim of the Mentor Program is to provide WOHO members with an opportunity to be inspired and gain hands-on experience and guidance from an industry influencers and leaders. We have cast the net wide in our search for mentors to ensure a diverse cross section of the industry is represented and the calibre is exceptionally high.
