Event description
Dubbo Zoo Safari- Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th October 2023
We will experience an African safari right in the heart of NSW. Their unrivalled in zoo safari experience is inclusive of meals, accommodation, exclusive tours, two-day zoo entry and bike hire. In addition to this we have our own on board coach guide as well as climbing aboard the Savannah Safari truck and experience a unique guided tour amongst herds of African animals such as giraffes, rhinos, zebra and more.
Day One:
Pick-ups commence by 07:00 we then head South, for our first stop @ Heatherbrae for morning tea. Lunch today will be a picnic lunch with your very own prepacked Port Bus Picnic Lunch Bag in Richmond. Comfort & Cuppa roadside in Wallerawang before checking into Orange Western Plus Ambassador, Orange for the night. Dinner is on site tonight.
Includes: Door to door pickup (selected areas), Port Bus picnic lunch, cuppa, dinner & accommodation.
Day Two:
After breakfast we will check out and depart for the Japanese Garden and Cultural Centre. Moving onto our Cathedral Cave Tour. Lunch consists of mixed sandwiches; wraps & fruit is at the Ancient Landscapes. It’s now time to start our Zoofari Experience! @ Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
Includes: Breakfast, entries, tours, lunch, 2 x day zoo pass, 1 x night accommodation in Safari-style canvas lodge, exclusive guided tour, African inspired dinner & 1 x day bicycle hire.
Day Three:
Join an early morning tour before breakfast. Our zoo guide will board the coach around 10:30 for a tour of the Zoo. We will then grab lunch before we head off. Straight through to Mudgee Parklands Resort, Mudgee.
Includes: Breakfast, on board tour guide, Savannah ride, lunch, 3-course dinner, and accommodation.
Day Four:
After breakfast take the opportunity for some free time to explore Mudgee. Just after 10:00 we head to Mudgee’s Honey Haven. Lunch today is at the Denman Hotel with antipasto share plates! This afternoon we pop into Roche Estate for some cheese and wine pairing! Just in time to put you to sleep for the final stint home! A comfort stop and drop offs should commence around 19:30!
