For our June whisky tasting, we're going to shy away from the younger side of Scotch, and have a study of four whiskies that average more than 20 years of age.  With the industry offering younger and younger whisky, it's time to slow down a bit, and see what the extra time and additional expense delivers in the glass.  

I've had a look around for some more out-of-the-way distilleries, hoping to find some hidden gems with a few decades of barrel time for us to sample.  Lovely classics like an 18 year-old Glen Grant, a lesser-know 23 year-old from Kinvinnie, a 20 year-old Glen Devron and a 21 year-old Tomatin will round out the evening.

Please join me on Tuesday, June 10 at the Seatoun Clubhouse, $60 per seat.  Start time is 7:30pm, but please arrive a bit earlier to get a beer and find a seat.
