100 Families WA COVID-19 Findings

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Please join 100 Families WA to hear about our most recent set of findings; COVID-19 and its social impacts on families living in entrenched disadvantage.

The launch will be held at the State Library of Western Australia on the 21st August, 10-11.30am and will be attended by an in-person (limited numbers) and online audience. A presentation of the findings will be followed by a panel of experts which will be made up of academia, the not-for-profit sector and families who hold lived experience.

Some of the key issues presented and discussed will be;

  • Accessing services during the pandemic and families’ experiences of this
  • Experiences around providing education to children in the home
  • Changes to families’ income and its impact on their ability to meet needs

Given the complexity of the COVID-19 situation, we are confident this unique evidence base will offer insight and utility across government and the sector.

Please do forward this invite to others you feel would benefit from hearing about these findings so they can register their interest also.

Many thanks

100 Families WA
