100 Women Solvathon 2025
Event description
Are you passionate about making a tangible difference for women and girls? Do you thrive on collaboration and innovative problem-solving?
100 Women is thrilled to invite you to express your interest to participate in our inaugural #Solvathon – a FREE and unique event designed to bring together diverse voices, resources, networks, and experience to create positive change.
This isn't just another event; it's a first-of-its-kind opportunity to move beyond awareness and actively contribute to real solutions for challenges facing women and girls in Perth and beyond.
We've engaged with two Western Australian charities who are previous grant recipients, and we'll be tackling their most pressing and solvable challenges in areas such as community impact, operations/IT, and sustainability.
Why should you express your interest to attend?
Make a Real Impact: Contribute directly to developing actionable solutions for grassroots charities.
Collaborate & Network: Work alongside experienced leaders, mentors, experts, and youth from a variety of sectors including marketing, government, IT, HR, community, legal, finance, health, and education.
Learn New Skills: Discover an exciting, AI-empowered approach to strategic planning and problem-solving. This #Solvathon will leverage the power of AI to support the documentation and development of our collaborative outputs, offering a valuable learning experience in a new way to provide a plan.
Diverse Perspectives are Key: We are seeking participants from a wide range of backgrounds and expertise. Your unique perspective is invaluable to fostering innovative solutions.
If your organisation supports a Volunteer Day as part of your employment, why not consider using the time for this event?
What are we looking for?
With only 60 spots available for this event, we are looking for a cross section of talent in the following fields to form each team:
Strategy/HR/Governance
Investment/Finance/Funding
Project Management
IT/Tech/AI
NFP (grassroots) Operations
Marketing/PR
Health Promotion
Retail/Fashion
Note: We encourage individuals from all gender identities, abilities, age and cultural backgrounds to apply.
Is your talent missing from the list this time round? Become a Scribe!
To ensure we capture every brilliant idea and insight, we are also looking for dedicated scribes to support the documentation of content, with the assistance of AI tools. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of the action and contribute significantly to the impact of the #Solvathon, while gaining experience in AI-supported documentation.

How to Express Your Interest:
If you are eager to contribute your skills, passion, and time to this impactful event, please register your expression of interest and provide answers to the questions as best as possible. We will review all submissions and select participants within a few weeks - to ensure a diverse and highly effective group of solvers.
We recommend you block the time out in your diary just in case!
What happens next?
Once your EOI has been registered, we will be in touch with you in early July to confirm if you have been allocated a spot. We will then forward a pack two weeks before the event (mid July) with a background information pack on the two charities and the issues we are aiming to solve so you can come armed on the day with ideas and some possible solutions!
We look forward to partnering with you to create a better future for women and girls.
