100 Years, 100 Stories- Book Launch

📖 100 Years, 100s of Stories – The Mornsie Book Launch

A hundred years. Hundreds of stories. One very special community.

Join us to celebrate the launch of 100 Years, 100s of Stories, a beautiful new book capturing the people, memories, moments and milestones that have shaped the Morningside School of Arts – The Mornsie over the past century.

A highlight of the evening will be a lively panel discussion hosted by Brisbane history expert Marianne Taylor, aka The House Detective.

Marianne will chat with the book’s story gatherers, writers and illustrators, Alida Rae Mayze and Bruce Hall, uncovering some of the fascinating stories behind the book, the characters they discovered along the way, and what went into bringing 100 years of Mornsie history to life.

From dances and celebrations to community gatherings, colourful characters, volunteers and generations of local families, 100 Years, 100s of Stories is a celebration of the people and stories that have made The Mornsie such a treasured part of our community.

Come along, raise a glass and help us celebrate 100 years of The Mornsie — and the hundreds of stories that have unfolded within its walls.

🥂 Bubbles, stories, local history and plenty of Mornsie magic!
