We acknowledge and pay respect to the culture and deep expertise of First Nations peoples, on which this event is being held. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of Country across Australia and ngā iwi Māori as tangata whenua of Aotearoa.
19 July marks more than a decade of the Australian Government’s inhumane offshore detention policy. How did we get here, and where do we go next?
Join leaders, Behrouz Boochani and Behnam Satah, who survived the Manus Island detention camp for a panel discussion along with prominent advocates for people seeking asylum.
