Botanical Watercolour Art Workshop with Jan Pittman

(For adults)

Join local artist Jan Pittman for a botanical watercolour art class.

In this class Jan will teach how to paint watercolours in the botanical style. Using paint and water, participants will view specimens such as flowers, leaves and interestingly shaped pieces of wood, then draw and paint them.

Bookings are essential for this art class. Tickets are $22 each. All materials will be supplied. 

Light refreshments will be available.

Please remember to cancel your booking via Humanitix or by contacting the library if you are unable to attend. The place/s can then be released for someone else to enjoy.

About Jan Pittman: Jan Pittman is an active member of the Watercolour Society of WA, AGRA, and BASA, and the Wildflower Society of WA. Jan paints in the botanical art style and has won many prizes. In recent years Jan has participated in various exhibitions with the WSWA, AGRA and BASA.  A keen traveller, Jan has enjoyed trips to China, Italy and India with the WSWA for exhibitions, and remote parts of Scotland and its islands where she painted and drew people, castles and scenery.
