Event description

Celebrate Winter Solstice week with Alexa Sunshine Rose and Aimée Ringle

Join Aimée Ringle & Alexa Sunshine Rose for a heartfelt evening of beautiful, acoustic music and a candlelight vigil in honor of the darkest time of the year.  As we lead up to Winter Solstice (Dec 21), together we'll keep each other company in the night, singing light and warmth into the shadows and places that need it the most, honoring the gifts of both the darkness and the light.

At the cozy Ballard Homestead on Friday, December 13th at 7:00 pm.

Alexa Sunshine Rose: www.instagram.com/alexasunshinerose

Alexa Sunshine Rose is an internationally-recognized singer-songwriter, ritualist, artist and mystic who has dedicated herself and her life's work to being a clear channel for peace on earth. Her songs are frequently utilized in meditation, yoga, birth and healing work. She has been touring and teaching across the West Coast and Hawaii since 2009 and collaborates ongoing with artists such as Shimshai, Tina Malia, Marya Stark and Murray Kyle.

Alexa Rose’s music brings such a sweet reminder of deep, simple truth, through ancient-yet-familiar melodies... almost as if you’ve heard them before in another life. Her songs are some of our favorites, both around the house and in our events and gatherings at La Ventana [retreat center]." -Shimshai (Musician, Producer)

"There are some singers who grow blossoms in the garden of the heart, bringing peace and healing into this world. Alexa Sunshine Rose is one such artist. Her divinely inspired music sings you up to the stars and back again, deep into your own heart." - Murray Kyle (Mystic Musician/Troubadour)

Aimée Ringle: www.instagram.com/bowlofstones

Aimée Ringle is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter, songleader, storyteller and community "enthusiator." She writes, plays, and sings with moments of sacred communion in mind, and does all that she can as a musician and as a leader to make such moments more likely.

“Aimee Ringle brings wisdom, depth, hilarity, and irresistible invitation to everything she does. Her songs are little gems that glow with virtuosity and insight. Her voice is honey and cayenne. And her song leading opens the way for any group to leap into ecstatic song. She is a treasure.” - Barbara McAfeeVoice (Coach/Trainer, Speaker, Singer-Songwriter, Songleader)

"There are two streams that inform great storytelling: the poetic and the mythic. In olden times these two were naturally and always braided together with a third—music. Modernity brings specialization which has unkindly split so many things that once belonged together. And so it is surprising to the point of awe when in one artist we find the music, poetic and mythic braided together again before our eyes, ears, and hearts so that they are reunited within us in a kind of healing. Aimée Ringle is one such artist, healer, mythteller, mythsinger; A treasure, a pleasure, and culture bringer. Don't miss a chance to experience the magic that flows through her." - Daniel Deardorff (Mythsinger, Author, Producer)
