Addressing Challenging Behaviour: Shifting Perspectives and Practical Solutions 

When behaviour in an adolescent community challenges our ideals, it requires us to pause, breathe deeply and consider the situation from another point of view. Often it is helpful to remember basic Montessori principles such as the manifestation of Human Tendencies at the third plane, the characteristics and needs of adolescents and the drive toward independence.  The perspectives of the parents, guides, school administration and society also need to be considered. After each presentation, there will be time for Q&A and collaborative discussion.
