Travel instructions
There are several ways to arrive at the venue: 1. Public Transport. Plan your trip at Transport NSW https://transportnsw.info/trip#/trip TRAIN/METRO The closest train stations are Martin Place, St James, and Circular Quay. The closest Metro station is Martin Place. Martin Place Station is approximately a 1.2km walk along gentle hills. Exit the station towards Macquarie St, crossing over and walking through to the back of Sydney Hospital, walk through the Domain, turn left at Art Gallery Rd/Mrs Macquaries Rd and continue for around 700m until you reach the bus turning circle on Mrs Macquaries Rd at the end of the Botanic Garden's fence-line. Turn left down the slope following the Botanic Garden's northern fence-line past Victoria Lodge Gate towards the seawall, approximately 85m to the entry/scanning point. Past the entry point the slope continues for approximately another 60m until you reach flat ground at the seawall. The entire slope has a gradient of approximately 7.5%. FERRY Similar to the route from Circular Quay Station, the walk from the ferry is approximately a 1.2km walk along gentle hills through the heart of the Botanic Garden towards Victoria Lodge Gate (exit the Gate and head down around 60m to the venue's entry point), or 1.7km taking the flatter path towards the Opera House, in front of the forecourt heading east, then through the Botanic Garden's QEII gates following the seawall around to Yurong Gate (exit this Gate and enter via the alternative entry point around 3 metres further along the seawall). Please note that you won't be able to enter or exit via the Botanic Garden after 8pm, as the gates are closed at 8pm nightly. BUS The 441 route departs from the York Street side of Queen Victoria Building and drops off outside the Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool. Exit the bus, walk north for approximately 20 metres. You're now at the bus turning circle on the opposite side of the road from the venue entry. Cross Mrs Macquaries Rd carefully - at this point, 20 metres wide. Once you're on the western side of the road, follow the Botanic Garden's northern fenceline and head straight down the slope past Victoria Lodge Gate towards the seawall, approximately 85m to the entry/scanning point. Past the entry point the slope continues for approximately another 60m until you reach flat ground at the seawall. The entire slope has a gradient of approximately 7.5%. 2. Car If you're arriving by car and wish to be dropped off as close to the venue as possible, we have a designated drop-off zone at the junction of Fleet Steps Access Rd (at the northern end of the Botanic Garden's fenceline) and Mrs Macquaries Rd. This area is directly across the road from the Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool. Traffic controllers will be here to assist traffic movement, and staff will be on hand to provide assistance and support if needed. There is a kerb ramp at this point for easy access up onto the footpath. From here, please head down the slope following the Botanic Garden's northern fenceline past Victoria Lodge Gate towards the seawall, approximately 85m to the entry/scanning point. Past the entry point the slope continues for approximately another 60m until you reach flat ground at the seawall. The entire slope has a gradient of approximately 7.5%. PARKING 24-hour metered parking is available on Mrs Macquaries Rd. Parking rates are $9/hour 8am to 8pm, and $5/hour 8pm to 8am. The meters will calculate the amount due, there's no need to return to the meter at 8pm to 'top it up'. Parking payments are cashless and can be made via the PARK'nPAY mobile app, or with a credit card at the parking meters on-site. To find out more about the PARK'nPAY system and how to download the app, visit parknpay.nsw.gov.au. I have a mobility parking permit; will I need to pay for metered street parking? The parking station is around a 1.1km walk heading north along Art Gallery Rd/Mrs Macquaries Rd until you reach the bus turning circle on Mrs Macquaries Rd at the end of the Botanic Garden's fence-line (see pin-drop in map above). From here turn left down the slope following the Botanic Garden's northern fenceline past Victoria Lodge Gate towards the seawall, approximately 85m to the entry/scanning point. Past the entry point the slope continues for approximately another 60m until you reach flat ground at the seawall. The entire slope has a gradient of approximately 7.5%.

Hazards
The sloped pathway from Mrs Macquaries Rd down to our entry/scanning point is made of bitumen and may be a little uneven in parts. Most of the cinema seating inside our venue on the flat areas is situated on either bitumen or astro-turf and may be uneven in parts. The seawall which runs along the flat western edge of our venue (on your left side once you reach the end of the entry slope) is quite low, approximately 1 metre high. There is furniture in the dining areas, tables and chairs. We have created extra space on this night to make moving around in the dining areas a more comfortable experience.
Toilet location
All toilets will have Braille signage in standard position on the doorways and posts. The toilet facilities are located approximately 20 metres beyond the entry/scanning point on the righthand side of the path, in the following order of closeness to the entry/scanning point: Male & Unisex, then Accessible, then Female. All non-accessible bathrooms are at the top of a staircase of 8 steps. The accessible bathroom is located on the righthand side of the entry pathway between the Male+Unisex toilets and the Female toilets and is lefthand transfer. The Chandon Garden is directly opposite on the lefthand side of the path. From the facilities, you have another 115m to the cinema seating or 148m to The Point dining area.
