West Coast Swing is a partner dance style that can be danced to a huge variety of music: pop, R&B, blues, hip hop, funk, k-pop and much more!

The 4-week Beginner Bootcamp is a crash course that caters to those who are complete beginners (no prior experience required), as well as dancers wanting to brush up on their basics and improve their technique! By the end of this course, you can expect to:

social dance comfortably to a variety of music!
express yourself through styling and musicality!
practice and improve through exercises from the class content!
meet new people and join a friendly community!

Have completed the Beginner Bootcamp previously, feeling confident about your basics, and ready for a challenge? The Level 2* Mini Workshops are for you!

Have you mastered Level 2 and are looking for your next challenge? The Level 3** Mini Workshops will focus on a different concept or skill that will take your dancing to the next level.

Our NEW class Dance Lab focuses on different elements of dance, and the topic will vary from week-to-week. Check our socials to find out what the topics are for each block!

You do not need to bring a partner in order to participate as the class will be rotational. Anyone can choose to learn as a lead or follow. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Always a good idea to bring a drink bottle and deodorant if you need it.

4-Week Beginner Bootcamp

General entry - $80
A single payment gets you access to 4 x 50 minute classes, plus free practice! While it is not mandatory to attend all 4 sessions, it is recommended.

L2*, L3**, or Social Only

Single entry - $25
4-Week Bundle - $80
Each entry gets you access to 1 x 45 minute workshop and FREE practice session on the same night! You are also welcome to stay for the Beginner Bootcamp on the same evening.

Dance Lab

Included in your entry fee for L2/L3 unless otherwise stated, OR

*Participants are expected to be proficient at the basic patterns and fundamentals covered in the Beginner Bootcamp.

**In addition to being proficient and confident in all the core patterns and techniques covered in L1 AND L2, participants must also receive approval from any of the WCS Melbourne teaching staff to attend L3 classes.
