Event description

This challenging walk follows the first part of the original tramway taking timber from Jarrahdale to Rockingham. Your guides will take you through Jarrah, Marri and Wandoo forest. After a steep hill climb you will enjoy views across farmland to the coast.

We will return alongside the Gingagup Brook, through recovering jarrah forest and back to the timber tramway to return to our start point.

This is a Grade 3, 9km walk. Fitness is required. Hiking poles are recommended with
sturdy walking shoes and weather protection, Do bring a trail snack as we will take rests along the way.
