The Art Of Disagreeing Well: an opportunity for discussion
Description
Do you wish you could discuss what's going on in the world right now and not be attacked in return?
We're going to attempt to do just that!
Join Hanna and Suzy at Beit Tarbut for structured discussion on any topics you feel like discussing. We will be using a format called Specturm Street Epistemology. The goals will be to speak but also to listen; to question and be questioned; to test your assumptions; to notice how your morals and identity form your opinions.
Appropriate for ages 18+, and ages 15-17 accompanied by parents.
Come with a curiosity that outweighs your need to be right.
The point isn't to win, it's to understand and connect.
Location will be sent to those who register the day before.
