Lighthouse Players Presents: 1900 Radio Hour Broadway Revue

Station 1900: A Radio Hour of Stories, Music & the Human Spirit

Dial in to Station 1900 for our Radio Hour as our present-day Studio Actors step into 1905 to 1970 with a sharing of meaningful stories! During this live performance, we will explore themes of love, loss, hope, faith, determination, perseverance, resilience, and redemption. From a fictional European village built on faith and family traditions, a ringing out of women's voices taking the movement to the streets of Washington, DC, to the Blue Ridge/Smoky Mountains where a true miracle occurs.

We delight in a range of music from standard Musical Theatre and Classical set in Jewish Folk, Contemporary voices playing with Modern styles of Musical Theatre to be heard throughout the Nation, to Bluegrass and Folk melodies native to the Appalachian region. We invite you to lean into the profound stories we will share, in a Broadway Revue fashion, and empower you to not only leave creating bridges in communications and thought, but also we urge you to go see the full productions with the authors' intent.

May we carry a light from one story to the next and bless you all this afternoon of live theatre!

Please note that while this performance is suitable for all ages, it includes some mature themes. Parental discretion is advised for young children.

Two friends, arts professionals with a shared vision for the arts, a heart for people, and shared values, saw the need for a liberating arts organization in their community. Together, they founded Lighthouse Players over 8 years ago and are creating a space that is safe yet encourages risk, nurtures while empowering, and stays true to the art form and the stories brought to life.
