1995(ish) Auckland Uni Hostels Reunion

This is an informal reunion for anyone who lived in an Auckland University hostel in 1995 (or thereabouts).

A couple of us who were first years in 1995 were wishing each other a 30-year friendiversary, when the idea of a reunion was born.

So this is it! We know there are different groups of people still in contact from those days, and also many who may not be. We hope this invite gets out to as many people as possible via social media channels. Please pass it on to people you may still be in contact with from the hostel days.

It's based around the year 1995, as that was 30 years ago and those are the main people we've pushed the invite out to. But feel free to forward to people from neighbouring years as often friendships and connections blurred across years. We anticipate people from '94 or '96 might be keen to come along too.

None of us who came up with the brilliant idea can commit much time to organising a reunion, so we hope that this spreads virally. Please pass it on - we're hopeful at least a few people will see it and turn up!

Some logistics:

1) Shadows has moved! It is now located at 8 Alfred St - opposite the library;

2) Partners welcome! Just buy a ticket each.

3) The ticket cost covers some bar-style finger food on the night - drinks will need to be purchased;

4) We have scheduled this for the last Saturday of the university holidays, plus we have the venue to ourselves from 7-10pm, so we don't expect many students around.
