1MW #SheVotes Bradfield Online Community Forum
Event description
Calling all the amazing women of Bradfield - We are getting together to talk about how to save money and the planet. From energy efficiency to home electrification - with the Federal Election on May 3, we've invited all Bradfield candidates that have climate policy to find out where they stand.
Join us on line on Wednesday, 16th April from 7:00 pm - 8:15pm.
This online session is a space where we can come together to learn, ask questions and connect with each other.
We'll cover all the important stuff including:
- Why electrifying our homes is one of the most powerful climate actions we can take
- How it cuts our energy bills and creates healthy, comfortable homes
- What the candidates are planning for household energy efficiency and electrification
- How we can feel empowered when we head to the polls this May.
Come learn why electrification is so good for our homes, for the climate and to ease our cost of living. Connect with likeminded women and hear from the candidates of Bradfield. This is an apolitical event - our aim is to provide constituents with an opportunity to understand where each candidate stands.
OUR LINE UP -
Local 1MW spokeswomen - Your event will be hosted by some of the wonderful women who recently took our 1MW home electrification Policy Ask to Canberra - asking for all politicians to support 1 Million Households to electrify over the next 3 years.
The 1MW Team - Our wonderful 1 Million Women team will be there to co-host and talk about our recent work pushing for affordable, clean and renewable energy through home electrification.
The local candidates vying for your vote - The declared candidates who have climate policies - Nicolette Boele (Independent), Gisele Kapterian (Liberal), Louise McCallum (Labor), Harjit Singh (Greens), Andy Yin (Independent) - have all been invited.
