2 Day Essentials of Scissor Work

This course is designed for barbers and stylists who want to deepen their understanding of the fundamental principles of men’s haircutting and build real confidence behind the chair.

Across the two days, we’ll break down the why behind everything we do—through a mix of lectures, demonstrations, and practical training. You’ll learn how to map out haircuts on diagrams, understand the core fundamentals, and apply them with hands-on cutting sessions using mannequins (provided).

To ensure every student gets the attention they need, we’ll have three educators on hand, offering close guidance and personalized feedback throughout the course.

What to Expect:

• Lectures on core haircutting principles and the theory behind each approach

• Two live demonstrations:

  • One graduation haircut

  • One longer, layered haircut

• Students will replicate both haircuts on mannequins

• Guided practical sessions with coaching from all three educators
