Make November your Courage Month – exclusive online events on sale

Following on from the success of our 2019 Courage Conference, the Leading with Courage team invites you to participate in our ‘Courage Month’ this November.

Across the month, Leading with Courage’s Dina Pozzo and courageous media personality Vanessa O’Hanlon will host a series of virtual Courage Couches with leading women from around the world. These will be followed by an exclusive Courage Class with limited places.

Courage Couches

The Courage Couches feature 1:1 conversations with inspiring individuals about how courage has helped them to lead their best lives. These stories explore courage and its guidance within the workplace, community or life in general.

Vanessa O’Hanlon will host the Courage Couches, drawing on her own stories of courage from her career in radio and television to overcoming her fear of flying to become a constant traveller.

Courage Couch #1: 12 November 2020 - 10:00am to 11:00am AEDT

Courage Couch #3: 26 November 2020 - 10:00am to 11:00am AEDT

  • Emily Angwin, an Australian journalist working in China
  • Arlinda McIntosh, Creative Director and founder, Sofistafunk

Courage Class

26 November 2020: 11:30am to 1:30pm AEDT

Run by Australian courage researcher and leadership consultant Dina Pozzo, the Courage Class is designed to equip you with the knowledge and courage to represent yourself, organisations and your community. The class will delve deeper into courage and aid in action plans to implement courage within workplaces, and in everyday life.

Empower yourself by participating in our Courage Month and build your skills, capability and confidence! 
The events and activities will motivate you to lead courageously within and beyond your workplace.

The profits from this year's Courage Month will be donated to The Cathy Freeman Foundation.  Gold Medallist in the 400m at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, Cathy Freeman was born in Mackay, Queensland. Her mother is of the Kuku Yalanji people of far north Queensland and along with her grandmother was born in the Indigenous community of Palm Island. Her father was born in Woorabinda and is of the the Burri Gubba people of central Queensland.

Cathy Freeman Foundation programs broaden horizons and support Indigenous students to experience their full potential in school. The Foundation delivers education programs that are designed to travel the journey of a child’s education from Pre-Prep through to Year 12. The programs aim to improve school attendance and ultimately increase Year 12 attainment and are effective in extending the children’s horizons and future opportunities.
