2021 FEIT Prototype Exhibition
Event description
Welcome to the online 2021 FEIT Prototype Exhibition, a one-of-a-kind event that aims at celebrating students' successes and recognising the best student prototypes in our faculty.
In light of not being able to organise our usual large in-person showcase at the moment, we will instead host this event online using GatherTown. A video chat platform designed to make virtual interactions more human.
The idea behind this expo is that you can spend as much time as you wish to browse through the different student groups and join the project demonstrations that you like the most. It's a self-paced and low-pressure setting for everyone to enjoy in their own time.
The event will exhibit 30+ exceptional student prototypes ranging from video games, interactive media applications, robotics, software solutions, and more!
Prototypes will be selected from top-rated projects from the following subjects:
- Game Design Studio 2
- Games and Graphics Project
- Human-Centred Design (Research) Methods
- Storytelling and Sense-making Studio
- Mechanical and Mechatronic Design
- Interaction Design Studio
- Playmakers Development Team
- Advanced Games Programming
- Introduction to Computer Games Development
among others...
This is an opportunity for you to come and talk to our top students and see their work in a low-pressure context. There will be prizes and an awards ceremony!
Please join us and help us judge the best student prototypes!
