    Event description

    As of 12:04 on March 29th, the new Rent Well 2022 Oregon Student and Instructor Books were finished and sent to the printer! It takes the printer about two weeks to get the books to me and then I can start shipping them out asap! The update was mostly visual and grammar. We have now (drumroll…)

  • Aligned the look of the manual with the eCourse,
  • Expanded on the Instructor Guidelines section,
  • Updated the background report in Section 5,
  • Added the Housing Wants and Needs Game into the manual,
  • Removed the ‘assignment’ language from the in-class activities,
  • Added in the law updates for 2021 and 2022,
  • Changed the second-person point of view to a third-person point of view in Section 12,  
  • Made a conscious decision to change out most of the written numbers for their number forms to support students with low literacy levels,
  • And so much more!

    • While we wait for the printer, let's do some trainings to review the changes and made sure that you are comfortable with the book. Think of this as a re-certification training part 2, if you already have access to the new instructor platform you have completed the recertification part 1.
