2022 Cooerwull Christmas Capers

Cooerwull Christmas Cooking Capers is being held on Friday 11 November 2022 at 7.00pm in the Hillsley Visual Arts and Hospitality Complex, 8-10 Noel Street, Ivanhoe.

Our guest presenter this year will be Grace Sportelli (Ivanhoe Girls’ Food Studies, Health Studies and Year 9 Creative Cafe Teacher). Grace Sportelli joins us in 2022 to take us through an overview of her career to date and to demonstrate a simple canapé that can be made for any Christmas event you are hosting. Grace is a passionate teacher with over 19 years of experience teaching Food Studies, Health and Science in Catholic and Independent Schools. Grace is devoted to creating practical based education and oversees our Food Studies program at Ivanhoe Girls’. Tastings will be available on the night!

Following this demonstration, you will make your Christmas pudding or your Christmas cake! At the end of the evening you can take your puddings home and boil them, hang them and wait for Christmas or bake your Christmas Cake!

The cost is $70.00 per person for all ingredients supplied and/or $10.00 per "Additional Chef"*. Drinks and nibbles are provided during the event.

*You are welcome to bring a guest or guests to work at your kitchen bench with you, enjoy the drinks and nibbles provided and assist in making the ONE pudding or cake you have booked to make on your own full price ticket. There is room for up to three people in total at your work station, so you may purchase up to two "Additional Chef" tickets per pudding or cake ticket purchased.

If your guest/s would like to make their own cake or pudding, you will need to purchase a full price ticket for them to ensure there are ingredients available for them on the night.

Please book by Monday 7 November 2022 to enable us to prepare the necessary ingredient packs. Places for this popular event are very limited and fill up quickly!
