- Applying principals of resistance training, moving post sternotomy or ICD implantation, and returning to sport to a range of cardiac diseases
- Current research into physiological responses during functional assessments and impact of heat on heart failure
- Ideas to improve patient motivation to exercise
Participants:
Suitable for physiotherapists, accredited exercise physiologists and nurses with experience or an interest in exercise training and cardiology.
Format and Covid-19 plan
Attendance can be in person or via webinar and recording will be available for all participants for 30 days after the course.
NB. In the event of COVID restrictions, the course will be delivered via Teams. Participants who registered for in person attendance will have the option to withdraw or switch their registration to online with a difference in registration refunded. Should the course be cancelled or if staff are unable to be released to attend either in person or virtually, a full refund will be offered.
