2022 Marine Studies Camp

The Science Department is inviting expressions of interest in an optional five-day camp to ๏ปฟCoral ๏ปฟBay in June 2022, designed to support students undertaking the Marine ๏ปฟStudies course.
Coral Bay is a marine lovers' paradise, with a huge array of aquatic wildlife and coral gardens, just metres from the shoreline. This makes it an ideal biodiversity hotspot to explore and survey. The educational benefits of attending this camp include:
- Providing additional practical examples of principles learned in marine science and biology.
- Students learning directly from working marine biologists and environmentalists in their fields of expertise.
- ๏ปฟ๏ปฟDevelopment of essential water-based skills linked to the Marine and ๏ปฟMaritime Studies course in Year 11 and 12.
๏ปฟThe students will be staying in the Ningaloo Adventure Campsite in Coral Bay, which caters primarily for school groups.
๏ปฟIf you would like to confirm your child's participation in this camp, a non-refundable deposit of $400 is required by Friday 3 December 2021.
