2022 North Coast Tourism Symposium and Gala Awards Dinner
Event description
The North Coast Tourism Symposium will provide a full day conference program and is a not-to-be-missed professional development opportunity for tourism operators and all involved in the region's visitor economy. Delegates from across the North Coast will be in attendance providing a great networking opportunity for businesses.
The day will include an inspiring and thought-provoking opening keynote presentation from renowned futurist Steve Sammartino, a host of compelling speakers, an interactive format, and updates on Destination North Coast's activities along with those of Destination NSW and Tourism Australia.
The Symposium will start at 8.30am and close at 4.15 pm on Thursday 28 July, 2022 and will be held in the super impressive Saraton Theatre.

In the evening after the symposium, Destination North Coast and Clarence Valley Council are pleased to host an Awards Gala Dinner that will include awards, celebration and recognition of those within the tourism community who go above and beyond, be that in support of their peers, employees, their guests and our region's valued visitors.
The evening event is a time to don your warmest party clothes and come together with friends, colleagues and your industry counterparts from across the region and celebrate the best and brightest on the North Coast and our collective resilience, fortitude and success in a time of ongoing disruption.
The Awards Gala Dinner commences at 6.15pm until midnight. Dress to impress but keep warm as our venue is the spectacular (but a little chilly) Heritage-Listed Barn at Grafton Showground.
This year as the need is stronger than ever to gather our industry stakeholders together, Destination North Coast continues to subsidise the Early Bird/Combo Event ticket price so it definitely pays to get in early and plan to attend both events (Early Bird/Combo Event tickets are limited)!
