2022 TC Production: The Monster In The Maze
Event description
Crete have just conquered Athens and the Cruel King Minos has set deadly terms for their submission. Will Theseus be able to save the children of Athens from the monster in the maze?Â
This is a one-hour dramatic operatic reworking of the Greek legend of Theseus and the Minotaur by English composer Jonathan Dove, and libretto by Alasdair Middleton. The piece is comprised of adult, youth and children's choirs from Trinity College and Mercedes College, and our past musical alumni.
