    Event description

    The 2023 Apollo Projects New Zealand Swimming Championships will see the best swimmers from around the country converge on the Sir Owen G. Glenn National Aquatic Centre to battle it out for the title of open national champion. In addition, this event is also a qualifier for the World Championships, both World Aquatics in Fukuoka and World Para Swimming in Manchester. The event is hosted across 5 days consisting of 10 sessions in total:

    Racing Tickets

    Session 1 - Saturday 1 April - 10am Start (Heats)

    Session 2 - Saturday 1 April - 5.30pm Start (Finals)

    Session 3 - Sunday 2 April - 10am Start (Heats)

    Session 4 - Sunday 2 April - 5.30pm Start (Finals)

    Session 5 - Monday 3 April - 10am Start (Heats)

    Session 6 - Monday 3 April - 5.30pm Start (Finals)

    Session 7 - Tuesday 4 April - 10am Start (Heats)

    Session 8 - Tuesday 4 April - 5.30pm Start (Finals)

    Session 9 - Wednesday 5 April - 10am Start (Heats)

    Session 10 - Wednesday 5 April - 5.30pm Start (Finals)

    Parent Breakfast Tickets

    We are offering a limited number of free tickets during warm-up for parents to mingle and learn about outlined topics within swimming below. This is a great opportunity to increase your knowledge and be involved in a Q&A discussion on the topic, whilst the swimmers are completing their warm-up for the heats session.

    Day 2 - Sunday 2 April - 8.30am - 9.30am - Creating Positive Swimming Experiences

    Day 3 - Monday 3 April - 8.30am - 9.30am - Identity & Wellbeing for Swimmers

    Day 4 - Tuesday 4 April - 8.30am - 9.30am - Performance Pathways

    Day 5 - Wednesday 5 April - 8.30am - 9.30am - Creating Positive Swimming Experiences

    Tickets for heats and finals sessions and Parent Breakfasts will be available from Saturday 18 March at 9am. 

    All sessions of this event will also be livestreamed live and free on the Swimming NZ YouTube channel.
