2023 Carey Donvale Chess (Term 1)
Event description
The Years 2 to 6 Chess program will begin on Wednesday 1 March at 3:30pm. Children will have the opportunity to participate in 20 one hour sessions during the year (5 per term) and these will be held on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 to 4:30pm.
For 2023, the cost will be $270 per child for the year (20 sessions @$13.50 per session). Please note that there is no refund for student absences.
Parents are to collect students at 4.35pm at the drive through and not from the classroom.
Note: The Chess program runs on selected Wednesdays – NOT EVERY WEDNESDAY - due to upper school commitments at various times throughout the year. At the present time, Chess sessions for this year will be held on the following dates. We suggest you keep these dates in a prominent position.
Chess Dates may change during the year due to school camps etc. Please regularly check the daily CareyLink Messages for changes to dates.
Term 1
1, 15, 22 & 29 March and 5 April
Term 2
3, 10 & 24 May and 7 & 14 June
Term 3
12, 19 and 26 July and 2 & 9 August
Term 4
4, 11 & 25 October and 15 & 22 November
