2023 Open Textbook Equity Adaptation Call for Proposals Information Session (April 28)

BCcampus is currently looking for people to adapt two open textbooks to be more equitable and inclusive. You can read each of the calls here: 

• Call for Proposals: Adapt Introduction to Psychology Open Textbook 
• Call for Proposals: Adapt Introduction to Sociology Open Textbook 

This information session is open to anyone who is interested in submitting a proposal for either of the two calls. This is an opportunity to meet the project manager, get an overview of the project, and ask any questions you may have. This is also an opportunity to find and connect with potential team members. 

Project Manager: Josie Gray (she/her) is the manager of Production and Publishing at BCcampus. She manages the B.C. Open Collection and provides training and support for B.C. faculty and staff who are publishing open textbooks. She has a masters of design in inclusive design and is interested in how OER can be designed to be more equitable and inclusive from the beginning.
