Non-violent Communication and De-escalation Skills - ONE DAY COURSE

This event has passed Register

Event description

For activists and changemakers

The way we communicate with each other and with the outside world can have a huge impact on the effectiveness and success of any campaign or organisation. Not to mention our own mental health, personal sustainability and relationships!

Non-violent communications are about applying our principles of non-violence, regenerative culture and equitable participation to the way we interact and treat each other.

De-escalation skills are about defusing volatile situations and avoiding physical and emotional violence, while remaining true to our mission and campaign goals.

Join climate change and human rights changemakers for this insightful training course, designed to improve effectiveness when communicating with peers, decisionmakers and opponents.
