2024 AELA Annual General Meeting

AELA Members and friends are invited to join us for our Annual General Meeting, being held online on Thursday 21 November @ 12noon AEST/Brisbane time (which is 1pm AEDT/Sydney-Melbourne time).

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – Australian Earth Laws Alliance Limited ACN 156 139 221

The annual general meeting of the Australia Earth Laws Alliance (AELA) will be held on:

Thursday, 21st November 2024

at 12noon (AEST) / 1pm (AEDT) (please join 10 minutes prior)

At the meeting, members will have the opportunity to:

• hear about AELA's work over the past 12-18 months;
• receive an update about AELA's operations, financial reports and future plans;
• speak about any items on the agenda; and
• vote on any resolutions proposed.

At the meeting, members will be asked to:

• resolve to accept the minutes of the last annual general meeting;
• resolve to accept the Annual report (including the Convenor’s report and the Treasurer’s report); and
• resolve to elect the board of management.

The following persons are seeking a resolution for re-election to the board of management:

• Michelle Maloney
• Ross Williams
• James Lee
• Edward Morgan
• Megan Vu (Treasurer)
• Eva Godnjavec

VOTING PROCEDURE AT ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Each member is entitled to one vote, either in person (online) or by proxy.

If you are unable to attend the meeting you can appoint a proxy by completing the proxy form appointing another member to vote on your behalf.
