ALBURY-WODONGA - GET READY TO PARTY!!
Regional Disability Advocacy Service (RDAS), with funding support from both City of Wodonga and AlburyCity will be facilitating an all-abilities dance party for people with disability, their families, friends, carers and support networks on Thursday 21 November 2024.
This event is all about celebrating the abilities and achievements of all people in the community and aims to raise awareness and promote action around the rights of people with disability and their full inclusion in society. If you have disability, support people with disability or are passionate about human rights and community inclusion, this will be a night not to be missed.
There will be lucky door and best dressed prizes along with a DJ, photo booth, activities, dancefloor, finger food and refreshments (no alcohol). The Dance Party will run from 5.00pm – 9.00pm at Mirambeena Community Centre in Lavington with the theme of SUMMER BEACH VIBES. Â
Mirambeena Community Centre is an inclusive venue that offers a range of accessibility amenities, such as accessible parking, wheelchair and scooter entry, low sensory room and an accessible restroom. If there is anything else we can do to support individual requirements, please let us know and we will endeavor to achieve these.Â
Tickets are limited and must be purchased prior. Tickets are $10 per person for every attendee with no discounts available. To buy your tickets, please purchase online here via Humantix or contact us on 1800 250 292 if you need assistance or alternative payment options. Â
Please note that carers and support workers must also purchase a ticket.
This is an all-ages event, however anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
