2024 Australian Fairy Tale Society Guest Presentation - Jaeden Williams

Join us for a magical, sacred journey through the Boonwurrung creation and existence.

The Australian Fairy Tale Society is thrilled Jaeden Williams - a proud Yalukit Willam man of the Boonwurrung; founder and director of Biik Bundjil, a Boonwurrung educational organisation - sharing a special guest presentation as part of our conference. As part of this gathering, celebrating and learning about oral traditions, Jaeden will be sharing the Boon Wurrung creation story for the filling of the bay (Nairm) - a story that has survived over 10,000 years from mouth to ear, along with learning something of the history, language and culture of the local area. There will have the opportunity to ask questions.

This session is free to attend in person at the Newport Community Hub, particularly for residents of Hobsans Bay, as well as on Zoom.
