2024 Camosun Chargers Middle School Camp
Event description
The Camosun College Chargers coaches and student-athletes offer volleyball training for girls going into grades 6 through 8. The camp's objective is to maximize enjoyment and to promote learning and refining the fundamental skills of the game.
Our mandate is to grow a love for the sport of volleyball, and that means being in an environment that is appropriately challenging. We place a priority on ensuring all participants are matched with athletes at a similar level. Coaches work with every court to make sure that drills and instruction meet everyone where they are at.
During the course of the camp we will cover all major skill areas and do a lot of game play to reinforce those skills in a dynamic environment.
This camp is led by Chargers assistant coach Morgan Monkman. Morgan is a teacher and NCCP certified Development Coach. She brings a depth of experience as an athlete and coach to this camp guaranteeing a maximum of fun and skill development.
