2024 Christmas By The Shore
Event description
Please join all the St Patricks’ College Choirs and String Ensembles as we celebrate the upcoming advent season. This is a formal occasion with music items linked by Christmas readings and poems, with no applause between items. Please stay and join us afterwards for tea, coffee and some Christmas treats supplied by the Cultural Support Group. All proceeds go towards The Breakfast Club Redcliffe Inc.
St Pat’s has partnered with Redcliffe Breakfast Club for the last 2 years though our Paddy’s Van ministries. We host a fortnightly Saturday evening meal at the Breakfast club and support the work of the Breakfast Club through our hamper drives.
About The Breakfast Club Redcliffe Inc.
The Breakfast Club serves more than 1000 meals a month to guests who are homeless or struggling to make ends meet. Their guests enjoy a fully cooked breakfast or lighter meals such as toast, cereal and fruit. Tea, coffee, Milo and fruit juice are also available, all for free.Â
But Breakfast Club offers much more than food. For many guests, the most important thing is the chance to mix with other people in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and form friendships and support networks.
