2024 Colin Tatz Oration

Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus KC MP will give the annual Colin Tatz Oration in memory of anti-apartheid activist, South African-born Colin Tatz, who devoted his working life to researching and combatting racism and discrimination. Colin went on to become a professor of politics and later director of the Australian Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies.

Since 2020 The Jewish Independent holds this annual oration to honour Colin’s memory and work, but even more importantly to continue his legacy ensuring social justice is a currency for all Australians to hold, regardless of their background, nationality or skin colour. The evening will start promptly at 6pm.
