End of Year Garden Party / CEC's 50th Anniversary

As the year wraps up, Canberra Environment Centre would like to invite you to join us in celebrating the year that was with the people who have made it possible. It's also our 50th Anniversary - so, its a double celebration!

After working hard in the community garden since we moved here last year, we're excited to open up the space for a relaxing afternoon with you. We hope you can join us.

CATERING

We're looking forward to cooking for you- with food grown from the garden included in the evening's meal! We'll be providing a light meal and soft drinks- feel free to BYO if you'd like.  If you have specific dietary needs please consider bringing along something you love to eat. Thanks for your understanding! You are also welcome to bring along a platter to share. 

EVENT ACCESSIBILITY

Gungaderra Homestead has wheelchair access as well as access to bathrooms and kitchen facilities. The event will be held in the community garden where there is uneven ground and grass.

SAFETY INFORMATION

This event will be held outdoors in the garden. Please consider bringing along your own drink bottle/cup to help us reduce waste.

SPECIAL NOTES

In the event of wet weather, our celebrations will still go ahead and be held within the Gungaderra Homestead Hall, located on the same premises as the community garden.

The Garden is accessible via Otway Street/Mapleton Ave.
