2024 Hit A Homerun for Suicide Prevention
Event description
This is a community sports & health event aimed to provide our Central Australian Community about the importance of Suicide Prevention Awareness, using sports as an innovative way to educate everyone and everybody. Through supporting and educating each other around issues that affect our people in everyday life, we too can help our family and loved ones in times of despair and in a crisis. Learning about the ways we can access mental health services, who to contact and how to get support in our community, is the first step in becoming aware and getting the help we need to be better, ok and healthier at present in the future.
