Event description
The JADA is Australia’s richest regional drawing award and seeks to encourage and promote innovation and excellence in drawing, playing a vital role in fostering Australian drawing practice. The 2024 JADA is organised by Grafton Regional Gallery and is open to all artists residing in Australia aged over 18 years.
Before processing your payment please ensure you have submitted your entry form at www.graftongallery.nsw.gov.au
Each entry must have a completed entry form, image and or video file uploaded and payment made for a valid entry.
It is the responsibility of all artists to ensure that their artworks meet entry conditions and confirm that all Terms and Conditions are understood.
The selection of finalists will be based on the images supplied. To show each drawing at its best please provide high resolution images, photographed in good light to enable the selection panel to best view the work. NB: It may be worthwhile considering having your work professionally photographed to facilitate this.
JADA Drawing Definition - A drawing is primarily driven by mark-making using various mediums.
Submissions that include both traditional and/or contemporary approaches to achieve this are eligible for entry.
