Maclean District Business Chamber Presents: 2024 Meet the Candidates

It's Election Time again, which means you will need to vote on Saturday the 14th of September, which also means it's super important you know exactly who you are voting for. Our Councillors are our "Board" for our Council. They make the decisions and pass the resolutions that shape effectively our entire way of life, so you need to know what they stand for, and what they propose to do during their tenure as our Elected Officials. 

Some are standing for re-election, and some are raising their hands for the first time. As a Chamber we applaud anyone who serves in Public Office and are providing this forum to enable them a voice to address our community, but also members of our community a voice to in turn ask their questions. There will be Question Time.

If you love living in the Clarence Valley, and care about what goes on here, THEN DO NOT MISS THIS EVENT. It is really important that we come together to find out who we are voting for, as those that gain election will shape the entire Local Government Authority (LGA) for the next four years.

We encourage first time voters to attend and participate, and we appreciate this process may be new for you as well.
