The Marlborough Sports Awards is an opportunity to acknowledge some of our top sportspeople amongst family, friends and the wider community. The 57th annual Awards will take place at the Marlborough Convention Centre at 6.00pm on Saturday 16th November 2024.
Dress Code: Formal Dress Attire (no jeans please)
Join us in celebrating the success of Marlborough's leading athletes through to our grassroots heroes, and to
recognise one person's lifetime contribution to sport when they are awarded the prestigious 'Marlborough Medal'.
MC: Our 2024 Masters of Ceremony will be returning back to his home stomping ground to provide some vibrant
entertainment. Tony Lyall is one of Aotearoa's leading MC's with a background working in 7 Days, The Project, Radio
Hauraki alongside his sporting success leading the Match Days for Black Caps, NZ Cricket and the
Blues Rugby.
GUEST SPEAKER: If anyone knows adventure at very high speeds, it’s world rally driver Hayden Paddon. Hyundai's New Zealand Brand Ambassador, Hayden is New Zealand’s most successful rally driver both nationally and internationally, winning 1 WRC rally, 8 WRC podiums, and more than 40 WRC stage victories.
