2024 National Semi Finals

Join Future Anything and school-aged entrepreneurs from across Australia and NZ as we bend the future, one youth-led idea at a time. 

Future Anything transforms young people’s passion and curiosity into innovative ideas that make their world a better place.

During 2024, 7500 students in over 75 schools have been in the driving seat of entrepreneurship, challenging themselves to create enterprising ideas that make their world a better place, through our Activate program.

Join us on Tuesday 22 October and/or Thursday 24 October from 9am AEST as 40 teams pitch their enterprising ideas live online to our expert judges in eight live Semi Finals. They’ll showcase their epic ideas and be in with a chance of progressing to the National Grand Final, where they can win funding and support to launch their ideas into the real world.

Tuesday 22 October:

• Semi Final 1 (9am - 10am AEST) - featuring Medi Manage (Brigidine College Indooroopilly), E scooter trailers (Brisbane South SSC), Meal Mates (Ipswich Girls' Grammar School), Verti-Grow (Ferny Grove SHS), and HydraBand (St Andrew's Anglican College)
  
• Semi Final 2 (10.30am - 11.30am AEST) - featuring Sun Kissed (Bishop Druitt College), Rubbish For Refunds (Bowen SHS), Legend Programming (Echo) (Brisbane Boys' College), Bush Safety Checkpoint (Brisbane South SSC), and Sea Savers (Ipswich Girls' Grammar School)
• Semi Final 3 (12 noon - 1pm AEST) - featuring Present Pot (Brisbane Grammar School), Eco Junior (Canterbury College), SproutPen (Ipswich Girls' Grammar School), Sun and Surf Supplies (Marymount College), and Wear Your Heart on Your Sleeve (St John Fisher College)
• Semi Final 4 (1.30pm - 2.30pm AEST) - featuring Paws&Pages (Canterbury College), Street Solutions (Cardijn College), Infinite Swims (Livingstone Christian College), Booby Bites (Strathcona Girls Grammar), and Pride Hunt (Thomas More College)

Thursday 24 October: 

• Semi Final 5 (9am - 10am AEST) - featuring MS Breathable Pyjamas (Fairholme College), ReRoute (Kildare College), Re-Leaf Australia (Loreto Kirribilli), Girls Only (Sheldon College), and Contaminated Canals (Matthew Flinders Anglican College)
• Semi Final 6 (10.30am - 11.30am AEST) - featuring Cluck Cluck Covers (Kildare College), Happy-aids! (Macgregor SHS), SafeSurf (Matthew Flinders Anglican College), BusEase (Servite College), and Health T (Sheldon College)
• Semi Final 7 (12 noon - 1pm AEST) - featuring The Screen Time Browser (Matthew Flinders Anglican College), BioTent (Ferny Grove SHS), Attack Twice (Kildare College), Kikjabs (Macgregor SHS), and Flossy Flavors (Queensland Academies for Health Sciences)Semi Final 8 (1.30pm - 2.30pm AEST) - featuring Calm Charms (Emerald SHS), Bright Knights (Ferny Grove SHS), EduGo Mobile Tutoring (Kenmore SHS), AuraRoutes (Loxton High School and Shadow (Queensland Academies for Health Sciences)
